Supporting Australian Wildlife for bushfire recovery after our fires that wiped out hundreds of koalas on the Mid North Coast in 2020. All funds from the sale of this painting on 25/4/2020 via FaceBook auction, were donated to Billabong Zoo, Port Macquarie NSW, along with all proceeds from the music created by musician Fiona Joy Hawkins and her piano single "BUSHFIRE MOON." The image was used as the album single cover. Reference photo of a wild koala looking for safety was taken by one of Fiona's friends at a nearby property during the fires. I added the red fire moon which we saw during a few evenings in it's fullness. See the Facebook Page here for Music & Art @ https://www.facebook.com/FionaLouiseFundraising/

* 1ST Animal Painting : TAREE AGRICULTURAL SHOW, TAREE NSW 2012
During a visit to the Taronga Zoo in Sydney earlier this year to photograph many of the animals, I took several pics of the giraffes there. This painting is from one of those photos - capturing the view that the giraffes have looking towards the iconic Opera House & Sydney's skyline of tall buildings. The ferry transports countless visitors across the harbour to the zoo daily.
